Boruto vanishing rasengan
Therasengan is an A ranked special ninjutsu that requires a change in chakra form and nature.
Boruto learning the rasengan as first was to please sasuke Uchiha to make him his mentor. Being the son of Naruto, sasuke had high potential for him and his only condition in accepting him as his student was if he can perform the rasenagn.
Boruto only wanted sasuke to be his mentor was because he was his fathers rival and wanted to know all his weakness so that he can easily beat him. How naive of him. However, he met his sensei Konohamaru sarutobi to teach him the rasenagn. Konohamaru learning the rasengan from Naruto, was very pleased to pass down the jutsu to his son.
Boruto vanishing rasenagn
The rasengan requires three steps or stages before perfection and it's not a jutsu one can learn in a day. However, boruto learnt the jutsu in just 3 days. However, there was a quite change in it. His rasenagn was too small to be actually called a rasenagn, well this was because of his chakra level at that time, based on his chakra level, he was only able to create three clones of himself Mao we should all know his chakra level was really low. In a haste to increase the size of his rasenagn, boruto added his lightning style chakra into the rasenagn thinking it would make it bigger however, it didn't but it changed its nature by vanishing while still hitting its target. Due to the fact it was very small in size, he was able to throw it. While he threw it, they both noticed it vanished but still hits the target and that's how the vanishing rasengan was formed.
